Traveling low cost means also to be able to organise your stuff in a very small space without giving up your favourite items. One of my travel essentials is my laptop, because I work as a digital nomad and I can’t leave it at home. Actually there’s a second thing I can’t leave at home, and it’s my boyfriend! 🙂
All joking aside, we both are digital nomads, so even if we can travel anytime, our jobs want us to always be online and with a laptop. This is the reason why I decided to gift my boyfriend a laptop travel backpack.
I was looking for a stylish and almost elegant design, but I wanted a practical solution too, so I found the RIVACASE laptop backpack had the perfect mix: the design is classy and linear, while the interior has a very organised structure, with several pockets to store the laptop and other small things.
Let’s be more specific.
The design and the structure
As I said, the design of the RIVACASE laptop backpack is very beautiful. I specifically wanted a black backpack, because it’s a very versatile colour and it’s also ok during a travel.
The backpack is made of synthetic fabric, with leather details; even if it’s extremely slim (I totally like this aspect) it has a very well organised exterior structure, which includes the principal big space with a zip, a medium hidden zip pocket in the back (perfect for your passport or your travel documents), a very small one in a side, and even a little pocket in a strap, for having your smartphone always at your fingertips. The strap length is adjustable, and the back part is padded and breathable.
I chose the 14 inches laptop backpack, that is the perfect size for my boyfriend’s laptop, but there’s also a bigger one.
If the exterior design is so beautiful, the interior structure is even better. The space, in fact, is divided into 4 parts: the main biggest space, the laptop pocket (padded and secured with a velcro), a smaller pocket (ideal for your tablet) and also a medium zip pocket.

My experience
As I said, I chose the RIVACASE laptop backpack as a present for my boyfriend. I know that he has my same priorities when it comes to travel accessories: the backpack I was looking for should have been nice, with a beautiful design and a very smart structure, but also comfortable, because the main usage is for travels. If I have to be honest, one of the main reasons why I like it, is because it is extremely light: the backpack, empty, is almost imperceptible on the back.
Fortunately my boyfriend was as much enthusiastic as me when he tested it! 🙂 He used the backpack for a business travel and he said it was so comfortable and so practical that it became one of his favourite travel accessories. And, you know what? I’m going to buy it for myself too! 🙂
