Being a woman and being a traveler is not always easy.

Let’s forget the stereotype saying  it’s not safe for a woman to travel alone.

We, girls, have to face some practical decisions: Which bag should I bring to Paris? How many shoes I will need to explore Rome? Is it better the black jacket or the white one for facing the freezing Cracow?

And, if this is not enough, we need to add safety decision: Money in the bag or in the pocket? Passport with me or in the hotel? And what about my engagement ring, is it safe to dress it?

A lot of women that use the grandmas’ advice, ancient but still a must: hide your valuables in your bra! And it is practical but – being honest – not so comfortable.

But we are not anymore in 1970 and fortunately someone decided to use this ancient method changing it in a modern, practical and definetely more comfortable thing: The Travel Bra!

I tested the Ultra-light Travel Bra, and I have to be honest: I’ve never felt so safe and comfortable at the same time.

Let me tell you why.

The idea

The first thing that captured my interest – before deciding to use The Travel Bra – was the idea behind it.

The anthropologist Dr. Annie Holden had the inspiration working with Indigenous people: they were living in places where there were often no ATMs and no hotel room safes.

So she started to looking for something better than the ugly money belt and, couldn’t find it, she decided to work with Brenda Barnett, a professional bra designer, and they set out to design the perfect travel bra, considering comfort the number one priority.

That’s how The Travel Bra was born: it is the resoult of a direct experience of a woman traveller!

The design

You can choose the color, black or nude, and you can wear it as your everyday bra because, honestly, there’s no difference!

The pockets are designed to be concealed and fold-away when not in use. It’s made of ultra-light polyamide fabric and quick drying (a great thing for a traveler). It has got wide shoulder straps for day long wearing comfort and several pocket to hide your valuables.

I need to repeat it: completely like your everyday bra!

The structure

This is the main peculiarity. I was expecting to find a pocket or two in my Ultra-light travel bra where to put my cash, and I was so surprised to find:

cuore bra2 drop down pockets for hide your id, passport or any other document. They’re so soft and fine that, where not in use, they simply fold back up under the bra band.

cuore bra2 very tiny pockets hidden in the shoulder straps, expecially handy for rings and bracelets or for USB sticks.

cuore bra1 medium sleeve on the side for keep your credit card or hotel room key safe.

cuore braPouches in the 2 bra cups, always useful if you are traveling with a lot of cash.

The choice

Having such a practical item during a trip is amazing. So I couldn’t believe that there are many different options to choose between.

Apart from the Ultra-light travel bra, there’s the traditional Travel Bra, The Beach Travel Bra and even Women’s Travel Trunks ! But girls, if you use to travel with your sweet half, you should know there’re also Men’s Travel Trunks, such an original idea for a present!

Conclusion

When I travel, I always prefer practicality. Even if I have to sacrifice fashion, being confortable is something that I cannot put aside.

But if I have something that can give me comfort without sacrifice fashion well, what should I ask for more?

Furthermore, The Travel Bra let me feel free and safe when I travel: it gives me the possibility to bring my valuables with me walking around fearless.

And I think we all agree that feeling safe while traveling is something priceless!
